Monster Girl Quest 2 confirmed to be in development, BACK THE FUCK UP!! For those of you who don't know Monster Girl Quest was a very high quality RPG/eroge developed by AliceSoft and published last year. Basically the game is a very DIFFERENT kind of RPG. The battles and general game-play style are similar to dragon quest, you gain EXP, equip armour and weapons etc. The main difference here is that the enemies in the game aren't generic monsters like in most other RPGs, in MGQ they are unsurprisingly monster girls i.e fetish setters.

The big thing for people who actually played it to the end, rather than for 3 minutes and then deleted it from their hard drives, is that the game ends on a cliffhanger. A blatant "buy the next one, Killzone 3 level cliffhanger" and I'll be damned if I'm ever going to pay for a indie japanese porn game. (spoiler I'm not) so I'll be doing the same when part 2 comes out, waiting on a completed translation to be posted on hongfire.com, downloading it and fapping till the cows come home.

If you want to "play" the game for yourselves then you can grab a translated english version HERE. But be warned, if this is your first venture into the world of hentai games then for you own sake SET THE VORE SCENES TO ON!!! you'll thank me later.

ANYWAYS, some screenshots of the game have been released as you can see and it looks almost exactly the same as the first one, not that that's a bad thing and" hey new monster girls, great!" From what I can tell some of the new monsters include, dedicated cat-girl (think Felicia from Darstalkers) Succubus (Morrigan, also from Darkstalkers) Worm lamina (?!? )and elfish samurai (probably a demon or some such shit). I'll attempt to keep you guys posted on any new information, later.

Well fear not, most all the things holding me back from making ACTUAL content for this shitheap have been eliminated (Slowly and Painfully my I add) so now I'm all ears and ready 'n' raring to go when it comes to making content so keep your eyes pealed and your butt cheeks clenched because we're in for a wild ride. I'm thinking of making this whole piracy guides for retards thing a regular thing on this site. I'm not what you'd call a "pirate-fag" after all I buy physical copies of games all the time. Used copies most of the time but hey for every like 60 games I own 1 of those was bought new. I think.

Anyway UNREAL TOURNAMENT or UT as I'll be calling it from now on, is just another reason I wish I was more of a PC gamer. Originally released on 1999 only 10 days before Quake 3 Arena, it was another smash-hit for Epic Games, who you may know now for developing the Gears of War series. And you know something? I honestly feel like a idiot for not playing it sooner. I mean I'd seen it dozens maybe hundreds of times before in game-stores or online but I never gave it a try. Well thank FUCK I did because let me tell you...

Seriously, it is everything and more that I want in an FPS. Lets list them shall we?

Cool weapons, each with an alternate fire.
Varied and unique stages, with even more through mods and user made one's.
Shitloads of modes of play and "Expansion Packs" to add even more.
PUMPIN' TECHNO SOUNDTRACK PERFECT TO GIBB SOME MOTHERFUCKER TOO.
LENS FLARES.
A fairly active multiplayer community, even today.
None of this regenerating health bullshit, Healthpacks all the way.

All these and a bunch of other shit that I can't possibly convey in words are what make UT FUN AS FUCK! At least to me.

But lets say that you want to get in on this madness and gibb some motherfuckers too, well you can. You could of course buy one of the 50,000 re-releases of the game since 99, because it'll run on most any machine made since. OR! you could download an "extended demo" from here. Either way hurry up, grab a copy and start fragging faggots.

Part 1. A little background

As much as I like JRPG's I'm not going to deny that they all kind of blend together. At least stylistically, what I mean by that is they all share similar themes and concepts. For example you are the hero who has a sword go kill this guy because he isn't the hero with a sword, the first female character you meet will probably be your love interest etc etc.

(Below a parody, but an example nonetheless of what I just said.)

Now of course this isn't 100% true. There are JRPG series that have a very different style and setting. Although I can only think of two off the top of my head. ATLUS' Shin Megami Tensei series, the persona series in particular, and the unappreciated Wild ARMs series by Media.vision.

(WATCH THIS FUCKING VIDEO BECAUSE IT SAYS MORE ABOUT THE ENTIRE FUCKING SERIES IN TWO MINUTES THAN I CAN IN FIVE FUCKING PARAGRAPHS!)

I'll try and summarize. Wild ARMs was developed by Media.vision and released on the original playstation in 1997 only 5 months before Final Fantasy 7. As such many people remember Wild ARMs as "that one game I played while I waited for FF7".

Honestly I'd say thats not a bad description, just from looking at screens of the game I'd say it has more in common with Final Fantasy 6, by that I mean it looks and plays alot like a SNES-era FF, as many PS1 JRPG's did.

The main concept (or gimmick as some call it) of the series is that most every game in the series is a JRPG in a Wild West setting, pseudo steam-punk bullshit almost and hey some people like that, not me but thats just how things roll you know, and even then the only thing particularly "western" about the first game was the inro which you've already seen, and the soundtrack produced by Michiko Naruke who also produced tracks for games such as Valis 3, Psycho Dream and even arranged several tracks for Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

Ok here's the thing. There are 5 main-line Wild ARMs games. At some point in 2006 someone said "How fucking metal can we make the music of Wild ARMs". "Oh you're making a guitar arranged album of the Wild ARMs? Thats cool we're gonna make a piano arranged album." And they did and those two albums were called "Wild Arms Music the Best: Rocking Heart", the guitar arranged album, and "Wild Arms Music the Best : Feeling Wind", the piano one.

Now I'm not gonna post the ENTIRETY of both albums, but I am going to post what I feel are the highlights. Really if you want to check em' out you can find them HERE and HERE, and you should they are both fantastic.

well it's been a while hasn't it? I would like to say I had been doing something important with my time but the truth is I just got lazy. I bought a SHITLOAD more games between the last post on this blog and this one here. couple that with the summer and school and you might just be able to see why I haven't made any new chiptunin' in a while. In terms of the internet I have mostly been hanging around 4chans /v/ board and hardcore gaming 101's fourms. anyways to the point, about a month ago a friend on youtube offered to edit some videos I made a while ago. with his editing skills and my cynical bullshiting produced MITCH: BRUTAL GAMING as of today we have produced 3 episodes with an underlining theme of horror (I actually address this in episode 3) I somehow manage to shit one of these videos out every week (when my editor isn't fapping to maids) I'll post the first 3 episodes here and continue to post them on here whenever I can. ALSO chiptunin' isn't dead just on hold for the moment sorry.

The Turbografx-16 OMG!?! while not the most predominant system in the 90's it is defiantly a unique and interesting console. It was technicality speaking a VERY powerful 8-bit machine with additional processors and hardware built around it's original chip-set designed by NEC and Hudson soft.

OK in case you don't know me I live video games, I play an UNHEALTHY amount if games, mainly old but I will sink my teeth into a current gen title if one interests me. so yeah growing up playing games like sonic 1 and 2 streets of rage and Mario bros I have a fairly high standard of games and one aspect of current game that I feel has lost it's magic over the last 2 generations is the music. Now don't get me wrong may recent games have great soundtracks, but the ratio of that happening has dropped noticeably post dreamcast at least in MY opinion.
